We produce only what is ordered. Not one piece more, not one less. We are the natural evolution of mass production. Continuous technological improvements have allowed for a reduction in production costs on demand, making it faster and more accurate, and the benefits for the consumer and the environment are truly revolutionary.
Although made-to-order production is more expensive than mass-production, the quality is far superior, guaranteeing a longer life cycle for the garments.
The elimination of stock costs, typical of mass-production, represents the first pillar of our exceptional value-for-money.
From craftsmen to end customers. No intermediaries upstream or downstream. Our business model allows us to eliminate the typical costs of intermediation, from distributors, to sales agents, to retailers.
We collaborate with the best production partners who demonstrate high ethical standards, exceptional craftsmanship skills, and use only the finest materials.
Eliminating the costs of intermediation, typical of the traditional sales model, represents the second pillar of our exceptional value-for-money.
We continuously strive for the best production efficiency to minimize waste. An example? The extraordinary Wholegarment loom, from the historic Japanese company Shimaseiki. Typically, a knitted garment is composed of separate parts (front body, back body, and sleeves) which are then sewn together. On the contrary, Wholegarment knitwear is produced in one complete 3D piece directly from the loom, reducing the extra consumption of raw materials from 20% to about 5% compared to mass production, maximizing customer comfort.
All Filatori knitwear is produced on these looms in a small, ancient village of about 3,000 inhabitants in the Marche region, where tradition and innovation magically combine, and Made in Italy is at its best.
Continuous research for the best production efficiency, therefore, is the third pillar that contributes to our proposal for you.
Our T-Shirt, the first chapter of our story with you, is made of 100% extra-fine 80/2 Filoscozia® Makò Egyptian cotton yarn-dyed jersey, produced by Tessilmaglia weaving mill.
At Filatori, we believe that understanding and appreciating the value of our garments is essential for learning to live with less. The more information we have, the better decisions we make, and the greater the appreciation for what we have, extending the useful life of a product as a result.
For this reason, below we provide a brief comparison between Filatori proposal and the traditional retail, highlighting the competitive advantages of our business model, which turn into extra-quality for the consumer. All of this, of course, custom-fit for you!

Produced in an ancient village of about 3,000 inhabitants in the Marche region, Filatori's knitwear represents a unique garment, a perfect combination of technical expertise, tradition, and innovation.
